How Route to Good activates our
5 Leadership@DAN values
On a personal level, Route to Good:
has a greater purpose; it provides people with a sense of fulfilment, knowing that their expertise and connections can be shared with non-profits that truly need it.
connects participants with grassroots charities that are undertaking phenomenal social and environmental change work that might otherwise go unnoticed.
How does Route to Good work?
On Route to Good, you take on the role of a strategic coach and avid mobiliser in support of your charity partner over the course of 6 months. You can expect to spend approximately 5-6 hours per month on Route to Good supporting your charity client.
What support will I receive?
Before going on secondment you will receive thorough training from our programme partners, GlobalGiving. The training will introduce you to the realities of working in an SME charity context, and it will prepare you to have relevant and reflective conversations with your charity partner.
During the charity partnership there will be training for you professionally, helping you to think through how Route to Good is supporting you with your development goals.
The Future Proof team and your local HR representative are available for any additional support needed.
