Who are the professionals?
The professionals are identified future leaders from Dentsu Aegis Network, a global communications company. GlobalGiving has been working with Dentsu Aegis Network since 2012 in support of its partner charities.
The majority of staff at Dentsu Aegis Network support their clients to build consumer relationships, by communicating their products and brands effectively. They are specialised in areas such as content creation, media planning and buying, communications planning, consumer insights and digital media. The remainder are functional staff, working in a mix of departments such as Legal, Finance, Technology and HR. Professionals taking part in Route to Good can come from any part of the business.
The volunteers come from across a wide range of business functions. They are not skilled specifically in fundraising. If you are looking for support in writing fundraising proposals or applying to trusts, this programme is not the right place to get this help.
What can your volunteer team do for you as a charity leader?
Your volunteer team is there to understand your work, reflect with you on your organisational needs, and to help you access the skills you need to develop your charity. The 6 month partnership culminates in the delivery of an agreed project brief that builds organisational capacity.
Through the process, the aim is also to help you as a charity leader to build your own knowledge and skills.
