At Dentsu Aegis Network, Route to Good brings together our Talent, CSR, and Business agendas.
It is an enabler of our Route 500 Career Acceleration Programme, which prioritises experiential learning; developing our future leaders through ‘learning by doing’ in the context of a real-life charity-client project
Route to Good supports our business’s commitment to society; helping us to develop future leaders who can empathise with and respond to the evolving needs of society in the new digital economy
It is also a key component of our CSR strategy, Future Proof 2020. We are committed to sharing our people’s time and skills with small & medium sized charities around the world, to develop their communications capabilities
Now in its third year, 109 Route to Good participants have helped 48 charities, across 35 countries, with over 3,455 hours of time given since the programme began.

Route to Good is a fantastic example of a successful collaboration between the commercial and not for profit worlds. Connecting the skills and talent of one of the world’s largest advertising and media companies to passionate, grassroots charities making a difference in their local communities is what GlobalGiving strives to do every day.
Eleanor Harrison OBE, UK CEO and Global Influencing and Advocacy Officer
The Route to Good program provides Route 500 members with diverse experiences and skills that they would not necessarily develop in their current roles, or any other Route 500 engagement. It is also a common reflection that the time spent on sharing knowledge and expertise with non-profits that truly need it results in a renewed sense of purpose and fulfilment behind the work that we do every day.
Lauren Leddy, Associate Director of Talent and Organisational Development, Dentsu Aegis Network
Route to Good has showed how skills-based volunteering makes an important contribution to your personal development, and has now become a valued part of the talent agenda. In doing so, it has unlocked powerful insight and support for small- and medium-sized charities around the world that normally can’t access this.
